Why on iPhone everything comes down to the Apple ID region
On Android the question of how to install is settled by a file: download the APK from the operator’s site, allow installation, install. On iPhone there are no files — the system is closed, and everything that reaches the device goes through your Apple account. So the main condition for installing the iOS version is the Apple ID region: it decides whether the system shows you the right page.
